3.2.18. devices/users labels remove

This command will remove labels (tags) from users or devices.

3.2.18.1. Input feeds

The input to this command as –rows must be from one of these commands:

  • devices/users get: To remove labels from all device or user assets returned from the query provided to the get command.
  • devices/users get-by-saved-query: To remove labels from all device or user assets returned from the query defined in the saved query.
  • devices get-by-hostname: To remove labels from all device assets returned from the query built by the get_by command.
  • devices get-by-ip: To remove labels from all device assets returned from the query built by the get_by command.
  • devices get-by-mac: To remove labels from all device assets returned from the query built by the get_by command.
  • devices get-by-subnet: To remove labels from all device assets returned from the query built by the get_by command.
  • users get-by-mail: To remove labels from all user assets returned from the query built by the get_by command.
  • users get-by-username: To remove labels from all user assets returned from the query built by the get_by command.

  • There are no export options for this command since it only returns the number of assets untagged.

Options

-u, --url <url>

-l, --label <labels>

Labels to process. [required]

-ss, --show-sources

Print the source commands that can be supplied as valid input to -r/–rows.

-r, --rows <rows>

The rows in JSON format to process as a file or via stdin. [default: -]
